So you just donated your eggs and are looking for a way to pass the time while you heal. Despite the short recovery time, there is ample time to binge-watch a series or catch up on some fantastic movies. Egg Donor Europe has compiled a list of appropriate television episodes and films, all of which are available on Netflix.
TV Shows
- Jane the Virgin is a telenovela about Jane Villanueva, who is inadvertently artificially inseminated. It may sound unusual, but it is jam-packed with romance, crime, and drama, with a dash of humour thrown in for good measure.
- New Girl: If you’re looking for a laugh, this is the show for you. New Girl follows Jessica Day, a young and unconventional woman, and her three male housemates as they progress through their twenties.
- Atypical: This series follows a young Autistic man as he attempts to navigate normal adolescent life. It’s full of drama, romance, and comedy, and it’ll make your heart sing.
- Schitt’s Creek: A affluent family lost of all their possessions and forced to relocate to a town they bought as a joke. It will be difficult for them to adjust to their newfound poverty, but it will be entertaining.
- Emily in Paris: Emily, a twentysomething from Chicago who doesn’t speak French, struggles with culture shock, love, and the need to prove herself while in Paris for work.
Movies
- Continually be my Maybe: After 15 years, two former high school loves meet in this romantic comedy. The famous chef and a local singer may have a spark, but will they be able to adapt to each other’s new worlds?
- Easy A: Do you recall reading The Scarlet Letter in high school? Olive’s reputation is completely altered, much like Hester Prynne’s, when she decides to take on a promiscuous new identity.
- The Wrong Missy: Tim thinks he invited his dream girlfriend to a relevant work retreat in The Wrong Missy. Only to discover, too late, that he had actually texted a strange woman from a horrible blind date.
- Enola Holmes: While looking for her absent mother, Enola Holmes, Sherlock Holmes’ younger sister, becomes involved in assisting a runaway lord.
- To Every Boy I’ve Ever Loved Before: Laura Jean confronts the problem because someone sends mails to her five secret love letters to her crush without her information. Do you like it? To All the Boys is the second one, which you should check out. P.S. I’m still in love with you.
