If I’m on birth control, may I give my eggs?

If you’re on birth control, you can donate your eggs. The majority of our donors are already on birth control, and it has no effect on egg donation. In fact, we give birth control pills to each donor for 3-6 weeks prior to their retrieval date.

Certain birth control methods, Nexplanon or Implanon, can disqualify or delay you from donating (the arm implant). If you want to donate but are currently taking one of these birth control methods. You must stop using them and have two regular periods before we can proceed.
